HDR is home to world-class expertise, and the Designer serves as our team's connection to those capabilities.\nA Design Coordinator embodies high standards of design excellence and innovation, integrated within the firm's overall design strategy. Responsibilities include collaborating across disciplines and market sectors in project delivery, documenting design concepts, and demonstrating knowledge of the interior design process from programming through to construction administration. The role involves advancing your craft, working both independently and as part of a team, having a solutions-based approach and being willing to learn. As a Design Coordinator, you will set a positive example, contribute to creativity and promote our collaborative culture.\nDesign Coordinator, Interiors at HDR with mentorship and guidance from Leadership, will participate in the following:\nEngage with Interiors and Project Leadership to understand operational plans and processes to achieve project excellence goals.\nServe as a Team-Focused Individual positively contributing to the design process, discovering solutions and navigating challenges, in the pursuit of Design Excellence.\nParticipate in Formal and Informal Design Reviews.\nSupport Office Environments to promote Design Excellence and HDR's brand.\nPromote HDR in networking environments, as appropriate.\nContinually Develop Technical Knowledge related to the creation and completion of documents and details across all project phases.\nEncourage Sustainable approaches and practices to foster healthy environments and promote the well-being of occupants.\nCollaborate and Co-create ideas and concepts within a team and across disciplines, ensuring successful project delivery at all scales and complexities.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPursuing Interior Design Certificate or Architecture Registration in the country you reside\nActive member in industry associations\nSustainability Credentials/Accreditations/Certificates in the country you reside\nExperience with Bluebeam, Rhino, Enscape\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture (from an accredited school) or closely related field\nA minimum of 1 year of internship experience in relevant design firm environment\nExperience with Microsoft Office programs\nCompetent in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite \nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
