Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nIn the role of Digital Production Technician II, we'll expect you to:\nAct as CAD manager for small projects, or a discipline specific CAD lead for larger projects.\nDevelop and maintain design drawings, layouts, details, diagrams, annotations, exhibits and sheets following approved CAD standards using AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microstation, OpenRoads designer, OpenBridge designer, OpenRail designer.\nDevelop, maintain, and coordinate print sets/sheet sets for printing of engineered drawing plan sets.\nCoordinate the compiling of multiple disciplines or teams developed plan sheets, both in CAD and through pdf assembly.\nImplement and maintain file nomenclature and architecture according to project requirements, performing file health audits at designated intervals.\nImplement Client or National CAD standards and HDR CAD standards where appropriate. Assist with developing project CAD standards as needed, contributing to the project CAD or Digital Delivery Plan.\nSupport quality reviews by checking deliverables for completeness, consistency, and standards compliance.\nCoordinate with digital designers, project managers and task leads, engineers, and project team members to incorporate design changes and resolve production issues.\nProvide informal guidance to entry-level Digital Production Technicians on file setup, standards, and production workflows.\nPreferred Qualifications\nTechnical degree or CAD design certification from an accredited institution, or comparable practical experience.\nIntermediate experience using CAD software to develop and deliver transportation plan sets, including drawings, sheets, and details.\nExperience with engineering plan development workflows, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.\nProficiency with transportation design platforms such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and OpenRoads Designer.\nExperience working in common data environments such as ProjectWise, Autodesk Forma/BIM 360, or Bentley Infrastructure Cloud.\nUnderstanding of BIM content, data management, information exchange, and interoperability among platforms such as Bentley, Autodesk, Trimble, and GIS.\nFamiliarity with reality capture, integrating existing-conditions data into design, publishing 3D models to GIS, and Bentley rendition workflows.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively, communicate clearly, and support multiple projects and teams with different technical backgrounds.\nRequired Qualifications\nTechnical degree or certificate in CAD, drafting, civil engineering technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nMinimum 3 years of related CAD, digital production, or transportation design experience.\nDemonstrated proficiency with applicable 2D and 3D CAD software, sheet production, references, file structures, and document-management systems.\nExperience applying client or company CAD standards, supporting multidisciplinary plan coordination, and performing production or file-health checks.\nIntermediate understanding of engineering concepts and transportation plan-development workflows.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and communication tools, with the ability to work independently, coordinate priorities, and provide informal guidance to less-experienced staff.\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
