This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to lead innovation, engineer impact, and build a legacy of excellence.\nIn the role of Electrical Coordinator, we'll count on you to:\nWork under the direction of senior designers to produce construction documents in REVIT, AutoCAD, and other production tools.\n\nPerform assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of electrical and technology engineering techniques and procedures\n\nWork directly with owners to develop recommendations\n\nReview technology documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines\n\nWrite/edit technology specifications, select equipment and technology devices\n\nTake on contract administration responsibilities requiring field inspections and conflict resolution\n\nCoordinate design of assigned projects with architectural staff and other engineering disciplines as needed\n\nPerform other duties as needed\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of \"Coordinator\" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.\n\nPrevious experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm\n\nFamiliarity with Microsoft suite of programs.\n\nFamiliarity with Bluebeam REVU\n\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).\n\nAbility to work in a high-velocity environment managing multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and workmanship quality.\n\nAbility to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks independently, and keep a daily schedule of activities.\n\nFamiliarity with engineering drawings.\n\nStrong desire for continuous learning.\n\nSelected applicant may be subject to periodic government background checks when required by client.\n\nStrong preference given to local candidates\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis \nDesire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration \nStrong computer skills using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power\nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
