Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nIn the role of Electrical Technical Specialist, we'll count on you to:\nPerform engineering assignments under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer\nDesign tasks involving judgment in evaluating, selecting and applying engineering techniques and procedures\nProduction of design drawings and construction documents through the use of computer aided design and other software\nPreparation of design or quantity calculations\nPreparation of specifications and contract documents\nCoordination with other disciplines as necessary\nOther duties as assigned by the supervising engineer\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in engineering\nExperience working in multi-disciplinary environments\nRequired Qualifications\nAssociate's degree in engineering or related field of study or equivalent work experience\nA minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supported\nAptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline to be supported\nKnowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supported\nProficient with Microsoft Office\nGood verbal and written communication skills\nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
