We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the world.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nThe primary duties of the Environmental Planner 2 include:\nPreparing the full range of CEQA and NEPA documentation for a wide variety of projects, including transportation, water, renewable energy, utilities, and land use development\nConducts environmental research; writes documents; evaluates potential environmental impact of projects; drafts environmental mitigation measures.\nWorking under the supervision of a Senior Environmental Planner or Environmental Project Manager, this position will be responsible for research and preparation of CEQA and NEPA documents, including coordination with environmental specialists preparing technical reports to be integrated into project deliverables.\nKeywords: Environmental Planner 2, Environmental, CEQA, NEPA, Transportation, Water, Renewable Energy, Utilities, Land Use Development\nPreferred Qualifications\nAbility to interact with various design teams \nExcellent research, project management, and communication (both written and verbal) skills\nStrong critical thinking skills\nSelf-starter\nGreat time management skills\nStrong organizational skills and innovative ideas\nWorks well with different personalities\nAbility to meet tight deadlines\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Environmental Science or closely related field \nA minimum of 5 years environmental experience \nProficiency with MS Office Suite \nStrong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities \nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must \nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
