Our employee-owners collaborate across specialties, combining creativity, precision, and deep expertise to solve the most complex challenges facing our clients and communities.\nIn the role of GIS Technician, we'll count on you to:\nConduct spatial analyses and prepare maps using ArcGIS\nPerform data input and editing of spatial and tabular data using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online\nSupport field data collection using mobile GIS/GPS equipment\nFollow documented technical procedures\nPerform other duties as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Science or closely related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience\nRequired Qualifications\nAssociates degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Science or closely related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience \nPractical experience with editing, database development, and map production in ArcGIS \nExperienced with Microsoft 365 Apps \nRequires attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work with a team \nGood written and oral communication skills a plus \nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
