This isn’t just a job, it's a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy.\nIn the role ofDrinking WaterEngineering Intern, we'll count on you to:\nGain real-world experience on excitingwater, wastewater, pipeline, pump station, and treatment facilityprojects\nConnect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs\nApply standard engineering techniques and proceduresto the planning, design, and delivery of municipal water infrastructure projects\nPerform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Managersupporting water conveyance, storage, and treatment systems\nAssist with engineering analyses, hydraulic calculations, technical reports, design drawings, and construction support activities for water and wastewater facilities\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary project teams on the development of sustainable and resilient water infrastructure solutions\nSupport project teams with data collection, hydraulic modeling, engineering analyses, cost estimating, specification preparation, and construction-phase services\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA\nDemonstrated knowledge of software packages such as Microsoft Office products, Autodesk, or similar CAD software's. \nRequired Qualifications\nCurrently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program \nAttention to detail\nPossess strong problem-solving and communication skills \nBasic Microsoft Office skills \nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must \nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
