This position will be working on projects across a range of markets, primarily the Mission Critical sector.\nThe principal activities of the role will be:\nUndertaking Mechanical design deliverables such as calculations, reports, design and technical documentations.\nAgree level of service, and project design duties with your Group Leader, for each project, understand relationship with fee.\nAssist Group Leader with monitoring engineering/CAD resource requirement for each project within your control.\nCarry out engineering concept design to detailed design, involve in tender and contract process, review contractor submission, ensuring projects are undertaken in accordance with design briefs.\nLiaise with the contractor/PM team to produce coordinated designs that are technically compliant, to a consistent quality and standard. Provide positive contribution to design/project meetings. Maintain regular ‘in house’ design reviews and checks.\nMonitor and control design progress, design variations.\nMonitor contract staff or third-party appointments\nMaintain excellent client and design team relationships to achieve high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.\nWhen acting as design team leader, co-ordinate with other project disciplines.\nAssist Group Leader with identifying and implementing your personal training/CPD requirements. Help develop working practices in the Company.\nImplement and manage filing systems and procedures on all projects.\nImplement Company Health and Safety.
