Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nIn the role of Senior Environmental Engineer, we'll count on you to:\nConduct, supervise or direct investigation, evaluation and remedial design of contaminated sites\nWork with Project Managers and other technical team members in support of developing project deliverables, including writing or preparing technical reports, design drawings, technical specifications, engineering cost estimates and permit applications\nWork with agencies and clients to negotiate remedial actions\nPrepare reports, including work plans and feasibility studies\nServe as a consultant and supervisor on remedial construction management projects as needed\nFunction as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects as needed, but project management is not the sole focus of this position\nParticipate in marketing efforts for remediation design projects as needed\nSupervise a staff of professionals and technicians in remedial design areas as needed\nPerform other duties as needed \nPreferred Qualifications\nProject management experience\nPrior experience working for engineering/consulting firm\nNYSDEC DER-10 experience\nCurrent New York State PE License\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related Engineering field \nA minimum of 10 years of experience in remedial investigation, design and implementation of remedial actions, as well as some project management experience \nRequires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.\n\nExperience with Microsoft Office applications (including Access, Excel, Word) \nExcellent communication skills are essential \nExperience with soil and groundwater remedial technologies is preferred \nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must \nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
