This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to drive infrastructure forward, power innovation and leave your mark on our energy future.\nIn the role of Senior GIS Analyst, we'll count on you to:\nIndependently organize and conduct large, complex GIS analysis projects as Project Manager or GIS technical team leader\n\nWork with non-GIS Project Managers and clients to design and effectively employ GIS on projects\n\nDevelop vector and raster spatial analysis models using Spatial ModelBuilder, Python or other GIS scripting languages\n\nServe as GIS lead for project marketing, budget development and resource scheduling\n\nPrepare quality assurance plans for GIS tasks and oversee their implementation\n\nSupervise other GIS professionals and ensure successful completion of GIS projects or GIS tasks\n\nPerform other duties as needed\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in remote sensing, asset management, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server, or mobile GIS (ArcGIS Mobile, ArcPad) a plus\n\nGISP, AICP, PE or other professional certification a plus\n\nEsri Certification\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or closely related field \nA minimum of 8 years of practical GIS experience; an advanced degree in relevant field may offset 4 years of experience \nProficient in use of ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS extensions e.g., 3D Analyst, Spatial Analyst etc. \nProficient in the use of Microsoft 365 Apps \nExperience with ETL tools (FME) and other advanced analyst tools e.g., Arcade, ArcGIS Notebooks \nExperience with Esri Solutions and Products \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to write reports that summarize spatial analyses and communicate findings with charts, tables, and narrative \nAbility to serve as a GIS project leader including development of technical approach, scheduling, and quality assurance \nContinuous technical currency \nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
