In the role of Software Engineering Team Lead, we'll count on you to:

• Manage software development projects, team to create new products, and maintain existing applications
• Manage and lead team in designing, developing, testing and deploying range of products on various mobile or web-based platforms
• Develop customer-facing experiences by effectively leading a team to design, develop, test and deploy range of products on multiple platforms based on corporate strategic goals
• Ensure that comprehensive and understandable specifications from basic requirements and use cases are in place by working closely with management and staff
• Act as Project Manager for corporate initiatives related to software development
• Manage software development projects and staff to create new products and maintain existing applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 3 or more years of experience leading software development teams in an Agile environment
• Experience managing distributed or hybrid software engineering teams
• Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale web, mobile, or cloud-based applications
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Jira
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, including cloud-native, microservices, and API-driven solutions
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and software quality management
• Experience managing product roadmaps, budgets, resource planning, and software portfolios
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into technical solutions
• Experience mentoring software engineers and developing technical leadership within teams
• Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools, automation platforms, and emerging software technologies
• Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives within engineering, architecture, construction, or other professional services organizations
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or similar project/program management certification

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Software Engineering or Computer Science
• A minimum of 7 years of technical experience in software development, including a minimum of 1 year of project leadership experience
• Proven experience in leading software product development projects
• Excellent knowledge of software development design procedures
• Excellent organizational, leadership, decision making, and communication skills
• Familiar with standard software development tools, including incident tracking, documentation, and testing systems
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
