Our employee-owners collaborate across specialties, combining creativity, precision, and deep expertise to solve the most complex challenges facing our clients and communities.\nIn the role of Software Engineering Team Lead, we'll count on you to:\nManage software development projects, team to create new products, and maintain existing applications\nManage and lead team in designing, developing, testing and deploying range of products on various mobile or web-based platforms\nDevelop customer-facing experiences by effectively leading a team to design, develop, test and deploy range of products on multiple platforms based on corporate strategic goals\nEnsure that comprehensive and understandable specifications from basic requirements and use cases are in place by working closely with management and staff\nAct as Project Manager for corporate initiatives related to software development\nManage software development projects and staff to create new products and maintain existing applications\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field\n3 or more years of experience leading software development teams in an Agile environment\nExperience managing distributed or hybrid software engineering teams\nDemonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale web, mobile, or cloud-based applications\nExperience with Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Jira\nStrong understanding of modern software architecture, including cloud-native, microservices, and API-driven solutions\nExperience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms\nKnowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and software quality management\nExperience managing product roadmaps, budgets, resource planning, and software portfolios\nExperience partnering with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into technical solutions\nExperience mentoring software engineers and developing technical leadership within teams\nFamiliarity with AI-enabled development tools, automation platforms, and emerging software technologies\nExperience supporting digital transformation initiatives within engineering, architecture, construction, or other professional services organizations\nPMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or similar project/program management certification\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business, Software Engineering or Computer Science \nA minimum of 7 years of technical experience in software development, including a minimum of 1 year of project leadership experience \nProven experience in leading software product development projects \nExcellent knowledge of software development design procedures \nExcellent organizational, leadership, decision making, and communication skills \nFamiliar with standard software development tools, including incident tracking, documentation, and testing systems \nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must \nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
