Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nIn the role of Transmission Line Project Engineer, we'll count on you to:\nConduct analyses to develop design options.\nPerform PLS-CADD modeling calculations and analyses.\nAssist with preparing cost estimates or specifications.\nPerform routine to moderately complex engineering and design tasks.\nLead design teams to develop and complete full construction packages for transmission line projects.\nParticipate in field reviews or construction observation.\nTrain and mentor junior and entry level engineers.\nCoordinate work of the electrical design team on large institutional/industrial projects through the schematic design development and contract document phase of a project\nEstablish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance\nCoordinate workload to complete deliverables on schedule\nConduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines\nCoordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents\nConduct QA/QC QC for transmission projects \nPerform other duties as needed\n\nKeywords: Transmission Line Engineer, PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, PLS-TOWER\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Engineering\nA minimum of 3 years experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector\nPrevious experience with an engineering consulting firm\nBachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred\nPrevious experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm desired\nFamiliarity with NESC and GO 95 codes.\nFamiliarity with PLS-TOWER and/or SAPS modules of PLS-CADD\nPrevious experience with utility industry or engineering consulting firms desired.\nPreference will be given to local candidates.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering \nProfessional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license\nPrevious experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector. \nComputer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Power Market Sector design software.
