Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nIn the role of IT Support Specialist, we'll count on you to:\nApply technology to address business needs and constraints\nAssist staff to achieve efficient and effective use of computing technology and maximize utilization of computer resources\nCombine a breadth of IT technical expertise with an overriding concern and urgency for excellent customer service\nParticipate in enterprise-wide IT projects and initiatives\nDiagnose system hardware, software, and operator problems\nProvide advanced troubleshooting on complicated IT issues\nProvide support for software applications\nProvide desk side training upon request for enterprise applications\nRequest hardware and software through the requisition system as directed by their supervisor\nProvide hardware support, printer and printing support\nAssist the IT Support team with the inventory management of desktops, laptops, printers, and other personal hardware assets\nAssist the IT Support team with software inventory where required\nProvide local office coordination and communication of technical support topics/issues of interest\nUnderstand client business needs and effectively match client business needs to technology solutions to implement desired solutions\nWork with Systems Administrators in performing IT infrastructure processes and procedures assigned to the team.\nA valid US Driver's License is required\nPerform other duties as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD, ProjectWise and/or GIS\nThis position may include travel\nWorking knowledge of Windows 11/M365.\nKnowledge of A&E Industry\nAssociate's degree in Computer Science/MIS-related area or equivalent work experience\nRequired Qualifications\nAssociate's degree in Computer Science/MIS-related area or equivalent work experience \nA minimum of 1 year of experience in technical support of PC, networks and servers \nExcellent working knowledge of personal computer and peripherals \nExperience in systems operations and maintenance \nWorking knowledge of Windows 7/10/365 and Windows 2003/2008/2012 Server. \nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications \nExcellent client service, interpersonal and communication skills \nSelf-starter able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision \nSchedule & Presence: This on-site role supports 24/7 operations through real-time collaboration, standard shifts occur within a 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM window, Monday through Friday. Additionally, this position requires scheduled on-call flexibility and the ability to remain reasonably reachable during off-hours for critical business continuity.\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
