Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nIn the role of IT Support Specialist II, we'll count on you to:\nProvide technical support to users by responding to incoming requests for IT support and resolving network, hardware and software issues with computers\nPerform technical maintenance and software installations and updates\nAbility to apply technology to address business needs\nAssisting staff to achieve efficient and effective use of computing technology and maximize utilization of computer resources\nCombine a breadth of IT experience with an overarching concern for excellent customer service\nParticipate in enterprise-wide IT projects and initiatives\nDiagnose system hardware, software, and operator problems\nProvide desk side assistance upon request for enterprise applications\nResponsible to request hardware and software through the requisition system\nProvide hardware, software, mobile device, and printing support\nAssist with the inventory management of all IT assets\nCommunicate technical support topics or issues of interest\nWork with Systems Administrators in performing IT infrastructure processes and procedures as needed\nProvide advanced troubleshooting on complicated IT issues\nServe as an example to junior staff when it comes to complicated technical issues\nPerform other duties as needed\nThis position may require up to 15% travel for scheduled activities\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD, ProjectWise and/or GIS\nThis position may include travel\nWorking knowledge of Windows 11/M365.\nKnowledge of A&E Industry\nAssociate's degree in Computer Science/MIS-related area or equivalent work experience\nRequired Qualifications\nA minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support of PC, networks and servers\nExcellent working knowledge of personal computer and peripherals\nExperience in systems operations and maintenance\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications\nExcellent client service, interpersonal and communication skills\nSelf-starter able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines\nSchedule & Presence: This on-site role supports 24/7 operations through real-time collaboration, standard shifts occur within a 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM window, Monday through Friday. Additionally, this position requires scheduled on-call flexibility and the ability to remain reasonably reachable during off-hours for critical business continuity.\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
