This isn’t just a job, it's a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy.\nIn the role of Principal Project Manager - Environmental, we'll count on you to:\nDirect and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out)\n\nResponsible for any project assignment regardless of size, visibility, number of disciplines, technical complexity or number of staff.\n\nProduce and coordinate several projects concurrently\n\nEstablish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings\n\nConduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders\n\nCoordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule\n\nTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule\n\nWork with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews\n\nImplement QA/QC procedures\n\nSupervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers\n\nPerform other duties as needed\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Planning, Business Administration or closely related field\n\nMinimum 15 years related experience\n\nPMP certification\n\nFamiliar with Primavera P3 or SureTrak software preferred\n\nFamiliar with Prolog software preferred\n\nMust have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills\n\nKnowledgeable of other alternative delivery/contract models, such as public-private partnership (P3), design-build-finance-operate-maintain (DBFOM), and engineering procurement construction (EPC)\nWillingness to travel regularly, and if needed, commute to a client's site temporarily\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and related professional experience\n15 years related experience \nA minimum of 7 years project management experience \nProficient with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software\nMust have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills \nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
