This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to drive infrastructure forward, power innovation and leave your mark on our energy future.\nIn the role of Real Estate Services Agent II, we'll count on you to:\nProvide pre-negotiation project, parcel, property owner and occupant due diligence, negotiations for acquisition of rights and relocation of displaces relative to public or private projects\nCoordinate right-of-way and utility issues for clients as assigned\nIn conjunction with others, perform activities to support real property projects such as property assessments, risk analysis, acquisition of needed rights, occupant relocation, property management, construction coordination and utility relocation/coordination\nPerform other duties as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nAA degree or equivalent experience\nNebraska Real estate license in good standing, or equivalent, as required by law\nIowa Real estate license in good standing, or equivalent, as required by law\nDatabase and GIS familiarity\nExperience negotiating for land rights in the following fields: high voltage electric transmission lines (strongly preferred), pipelines, DOT highway, municipal/streets\nAbility to read and understand survey exhibits and project design manuals at a level necessary to explain these to landowners and stakeholders\nAbility to understand title reports and their contents\nAbility to understand property appraisals\nRequired Qualifications\n\nA minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate, right-of-way, title, utility coordination, relocation, or property management \nAbility to work independently, communicate and document effectively, handle large volumes of work, and coordinate closely with management availability for travel \nAbility to understand and work in compliance with the federal, state and industry laws, and FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, NEPA, FERC and Uniform Relocation Act regulations \nAbility to work confidently with clients, property owners and occupants \nAbility to effectively balance office and field work in a collaborative and deadline-sensitive manner \nProficiency with standard technology tools such as Microsoft Office and Project \nPosition requires strong communication skills, basic understanding of negotiation and presentation skills, and ability to work flexible hours and effectively with people of all types \nCommunicate effectively and coordinate closely with management \nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
