This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to lead innovation, engineer impact, and build a legacy of excellence.\nIn the role of Senior Electrical Designer, we'll count on you to:\nProvide electrical design and coordinate electrical design team on large data center/technology/media/telecommunication (TMT) projects through the schematic design development and contract document phases\nEstablish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance\nCoordinate workload to complete the document on schedule\nConduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines\nReview electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines \nWrite/edit electrical specifications and select equipment, electrical systems and devices\nCoordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents \nProvide construction contract administration as needed\nConduct QA/QC on the work of other Electrical Engineers, Electrical Coordinators or Technicians\nPerform other duties as needed \nPreferred Qualifications\nA minimum of 5 years experience in electrical design of Data Center and/or TMT projects in North America, (lighting/power/systems)\nRequired Qualifications\nTechnical degree or a combination of education and related industry experience\nA minimum of 5 years related industry experience\nAdvanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure\nAdvanced skillset of 3D Coordination tool\nCompetency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools\nAdvanced understanding of engineering or architectural concepts\nKnowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications\nExcellent communication skills, attention to detail and organizational traits are essential\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
