Our employee-owners collaborate across specialties, combining creativity, precision, and deep expertise to solve the most complex challenges facing our clients and communities.\nIn the role of Senior Human Resources Generalist, we'll count on you to:\nAccomplish a variety of HR-related tasks with excellent customer service to support the full employee life cycle in the NC Area as needed\nEnsure the fair and consistent application of HDR policies and procedures and address questions, including those of moderate complexity\nIn consultation with the Area HR Manager, handle general employee relations and performance management questions or issues - including creating performance improvement plans and coaching employees and supervisors\nCoordinate requested compensation market studies with managers, Area HR Manager, and corporate HR\nUtilize the HRIS to process personnel transactions, generate reports, and support HR operations\nUnderstand basic HDR benefit plans, leaves, and ADA accommodations in order to assist employees - refer complex questions to Area HR Manager and corporate partners\nCoordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and offboarding and oversee the completion of employee paperwork\nTake initiative to work in collaboration with the Area HR Manager and NC Area HR team to maintain a positive team environment\nPrepare, oversee, and manage Affirmative Action Plans for appropriate locations and identify and engage in outreach initiatives\nAssist with the coordination of professional development training for staff\nFocus on driving and supporting an inclusive work environment and assist with diversity, equity and inclusion functions and outreach initiatives.\nSupport the NC Area internship program\nWork in partnership with recruiting and hiring managers to create and open requisitions\nOther duties as assigned\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or related field\n5 years of relevant experience\nAbility to travel periodically including day and overnight trips\nKnowledge of HRIS systems and ability to work within a variety of different systems\nAbility to work in-office 4-5 days per week; the location of this position is Charlotte, NC\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum three years related experience\nProficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel\nExcellent verbal and written communication including proofreading, strong client service ability and excellent telephone skills\nAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environment\nSelf-motivated, well-organized, and detail oriented\nAbility to handle confidential information\nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
