As a Sr. Marketing Coordinator for the Northern California Area Water Business Group (NorCal WBG), you’ll be part of a team that is at the forefront of driving innovation, building strategic partnerships, and winning meaningful work in drinking water, wastewater, and water resources planning and design. This isn’t just marketing; it’s about being part of a team that is creating sustainable solutions for communities and making a lasting impact.\nWorking in partnership with the NorCal WBG Marketing Services Manager and our Proposal Managers, the Sr. Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating high-quality proposals and interview materials, supporting business development and growth initiatives, and delivering marketing programs that strengthen our brand, visibility, and market presence.\nIn the role of Senior Marketing Coordinator, we'll count on you to:\nSupport pursuit teams in developing persuasive, client-focused proposal and interview materials from kickoff through submission.\n\nCoordinate proposal development activities, including schedules, compliance, content collection, document production, quality reviews, and final submission.\n\nMonitor client and industry websites for solicitation and procurement status.\n\nOrganize and file proposal and presentation materials following submittal for future reference and reuse.\n\nSupport management of client relationship management and financial systems to inform reporting metrics and dashboards.\n\nMaintain accurate project and resume data in business development systems.\n\nPromote data quality and consistency across marketing and business development systems and resources.\n\nArrange for professional photography on projects.\n\nSupport development of annual and long-term strategic plans within established company direction and goals, including growth initiatives and strategic investments.\n\nSupport implementation of key growth initiatives and investments as defined in annual and long-term strategic plans.\n\nSupport development and implementation of client plans, including long-term strategies to capture market share, as assigned.\n\nSupport solicitation of formal client feedback.\n\nAdminister implementation of the go/no-go decision process in accordance with HDR's Matrix of Authority.\n\nSupport content marketing campaigns to strengthen HDR's brand, increase visibility, and showcase thought leaders.\n\nSupport development and publication of engaging digital content that reflects HDR's brand and elevates thought leadership.\n\nSupport implementation of strategies that elevate HDR's brand and technical talent with industry associations.\n\nCreate marketing collateral and branded visual communications to support business development efforts.\n\nPlan and fulfill conference sponsorship benefits and support conference participation, as needed.\n\nDevelop engaging internal communications content, including announcements, presentations, and webinars.\n\nPlan and coordinate large internal meetings, in-person and virtual.\n\nMaintain inventory of branded materials used for client visits, conferences, and recruiting.\n\nTrain and mentor employees on marketing processes, business development tools, proposal development, and marketing best practices.\n\nArticulate HDR's capabilities and competitive advantages.\n\nHelp improve marketing processes, templates, tools, and resources to increase team efficiency, consistency, and quality.\n\nProvide guidance and quality review to Marketing Coordinators and other less experienced staff, as appropriate.\n\nPerform other duties as needed.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in a related field\nDeep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional services\nAbility and desire to travel and engage with others in-person\nRequired Qualifications\nA minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills \nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint \nProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign \nDemonstrated \"self-starter\" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight \nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
