Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nIn the role of Structural Bridge Design EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:\nApply structural engineering and detailing techniques in the development of bridge designs\nWork on projects that typically include bridge (steel plate girder, prestress concrete, segmental and cable) box culvert, and interchange design for highway and railway projects\nPerform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity development\nSelect standard bridge engineering/design procedures, and develop structural details using specialized software\nParticipate in bridge inspection, perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity development\nDevelop structural details using basic structural design and analysis software.\nPerform other duties as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Structural Engineering\nEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate\nCandidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression\nFamiliarity with engineering software packages such as: LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB-MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, midas Civil, MDX, SAP2000, CSiBridge, ADINA, RM Bridge, spColumn, LUSAS, STLBridgeLRFD, or STLBridge,\nMS Office, MathCAD and AutoCAD, LARSA and Prestress Concrete Design experience\nExperience in bridge/structural design\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree\nFamiliarity with Bluebeam Revuand knowledge of engineering software packages such as: LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB-MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, midas Civil, CSiBridge, RM Bridge, spColumn, STLBridgeLRFD, or STLBridge. \nBentley OpenBridge Modeler and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d\nStrong understanding and hands-on use of computers for structural layout and design\nGood communication skills and willing to work in a team environment\nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
