This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to drive infrastructure forward, power innovation and leave your mark on our energy future.\nIn the role of Substation Structural Project Engineer, we'll count on you to:\nDesign and plan production for general civil on a wide variety of projects, including site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, site utilities, and associated civil engineering activities\nPerform quantity calculations\nPrepare specifications and contract documents\nPerform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures\nMake decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed\nFunction as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects as needed, but project management is not the sole focus of this position\nSupervise a small staff of professionals and technicians as needed\nPerform other duties as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nA minimum of 3 years experience in general civil engineering\nProficient and demonstrated applied experience with CAD civil engineering software such as Bentley Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Civil 3D; specialty civil platforms (e.g., Openflows) as required\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree\nPrevious experience in general civil engineering\nRequires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
