We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the world.\nIn the role of Traffic EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:\nWork as part of a traffic team under the direction of the Project Engineer/Manager on a variety of traffic forecasting, analysis and design needs for a variety of transportation projects\nConduct operational traffic analysis using a variety of modeling tools, ranging from highway capacity software to complex micro simulation models; analyze everything from isolated intersections and roundabouts to urban arterials and freeway segments\nFocus on traffic design, including accident analysis and mitigation strategies, signing, striping, traffic signals, lighting, and Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS), including real-time traffic information, adaptive signal control, closed circuit television (CCTV), and variable message signs (VMS)\nConduct traffic design using CAD platforms including MicroStation, autoCad and Guide Sign software\nConduct operational analysis using a variety of analysis and modeling tools specific to support job duties, including HCS, Synchro, VISSIM and Aimsun\nConduct safety analysis using a variety of safety software tools including Highway Safety Software\nPerform other duties as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate\nCandidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression\nComputer skills using Microsoft Office, Synchro/Sim Traffic, HCS, AutoCAD and MicroStation\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree\nStrong verbal and written skills\nAbility to multitask while working on many projects at once\nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
