Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nHDR Engineering is looking for a Transmission Line EIT/Coordinator to join our growing and nationally ranked team of Power Delivery professionals in our Denver, CO office.\nThe primary duties of the EIT/Coordinator include the execution of the technical aspects & deliverables for their assigned projects. The EIT/Coordinator will be expected to learn and grow into the role where they will be able to complete the technical requirements of transmission line projects of basic to moderate complexity. The EIT/Coordinator will be assigned tasks and mentored by senior staff team members.\nSpecific duties include but are not limited to:\nPerforming PLS-CADD modeling and/or calculations\nPerform routine engineering and design tasks\nParticipate in field reviews or construction observation.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate\nCandidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression\nProficient with Microsoft Office\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nPrevious experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm desired\nSome field work and travel may be required\nPreference will be given to local candidates\nExperience using PLS-CADD, structure analysis, project cost estimates, plan and profile preparation, optimization, specifications and drawings, and other engineering documents required for power transmission line projects\nNational Electrical Safety Code (NESC) knowledge\nPrefer candidates who have a bachelors degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering\nComputer skills in Microsoft Office\nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture\nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
