This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to drive meaningful change and help define the future of our communities.\nIn the role of Transportation Architecture Team Lead, we'll count on you to:\nTake responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, morale, and marketing support\nTake administrative responsibility for team staff, including managing team utilization and balancing project workloads both within the area and in coordination with national transportation architecture studios.\nLead and coordinate services with other local teams, national transportation architecture studios, and engineering business groups\nSee that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system\nImplement, monitor and support company policy\nSelect, train, develop and manage team staff\nManage and develop multidiscipline teams\nWork cooperatively with Managing Principal, Project Managers, and other studio/team leaders on project staffing\nPerform other duties as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Architecture\nA minimum of 5 years experience in similar project types in Transportation Architecture such as subway stations, airports, transit and maintenance facilities, or similar.\nExperience leading teams and mentoring junior staff\nMaintains a professional architecture license and is willing to stamp drawings\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience\nA minimum of 7 years experience \nProfessional registration, license or certification may be required based on role \nStrong communication and listening skills \nAbility to handle multiple assignments \nGood leadership and organizational skills \nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must \nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
