Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.\nIn the role of Transportation Intern, we'll count on you to:\nGain real-world experience on exciting transportation projects\nSupport roadway design projects of various sizes and scopes\nConnect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs\nApply standard engineering techniques and procedures\nPerform assignments under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer or Project Manager\nLearn and perform assignments with software packages such as Bentley OpenRoads Designer and Autodesk Civil 3D\nUtilize Microsoft products such as word, excel, PowerPoint\nAssist Lead Engineer in preparation of permitting documents and drawings\nPerform other duties as needed\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPAv\nenrolled in undergraduate or graduate civil engineering program\nDemonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry\nLocal candidates preferred\nRequired Qualifications\nCurrently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program \nAttention to detail\nPossess strong problem-solving and communication skills \nBasic Microsoft Office skills \nAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must \nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
