Working alongside business development leaders, project managers, marketers, and technical professionals, you will help strengthen client relationships, elevate HDR's brand, and support efforts that position HDR for success in the marketplace.\nThis role offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of marketing and business development initiatives, including industry conferences and events, client engagement activities, thought leadership, social media and content marketing, proposals, interviews, and presentations. Ideal candidates are collaborative, organized, and eager to learn while supporting both strategic growth initiatives and day-to-day marketing activities.\nYour work will help showcase HDR's technical expertise, support meaningful client connections, and contribute to the continued growth of our Water Business Group throughout the Area.\nIn the role of Marketing Coordinator, we'll count on you to:\nCRM & Marketing Systems\nMaintain accurate client, contact, opportunity, project and resume information within client relationship management and business development systems.\nSupport business development reporting, metrics and dashboards through effective management of client relationship management and financial systems.\nProposal & Pursuit Support\nMonitor client, agency and industry websites for procurement opportunities, solicitation status, capital programs, strategic initiatives and market developments.\nSupport pursuit teams in developing persuasive qualifications, proposals, interview materials and presentations.\nCoordinate proposal schedules, compliance requirements, content collection, document production and submittal activities under the direction of pursuit leaders.\nAssist pursuit teams with client-focused messaging, win themes, differentiators and presentation development.\nSupport interview preparation, rehearsal coordination, presentation materials and logistics.\nOrganize and maintain proposal, presentation and marketing resources to support future pursuits and knowledge sharing.\nAdminister implementation of the go/no-go decision process in accordance with HDR's Matrix of Authority\nInternal and External Communication\nSupport development of engaging internal communications, presentations, webinars and meeting materials related to Water Business Group growth and marketing activities.\nSupport external marketing and business development activities that strengthen HDR's visibility, client relationships and position in the water industry.\nResearch clients, funding opportunities, market trends and competitors to support growth initiatives and client plans.\nSupport development and implementation of client plans, including tracking outreach activities, client intelligence and follow-up actions.\nSupport solicitation and documentation of formal client feedback.\nSupport development of annual and long-term strategic plans and implementation of approved growth initiatives and investments.\nConferences, Industry Engagement & Brand Visibility\nCoordinate HDR participation in water industry conferences, workshops, association events, client outreach activities and community engagement opportunities.\nSupport fulfillment of conference sponsorship benefits, including speaker coordination, promotional materials, exhibit logistics and post-event follow-up.\nAssist with development and promotion of conference abstracts, technical presentations, award submissions, articles and other thought leadership content.\nSupport content marketing and social media campaigns that elevate HDR's brand, technical talent and Water Business Group capabilities.\nCoordinate development of marketing collateral, digital content, project photography and visual assets used to support business development and brand visibility.\nSupport local and regional market visibility efforts through engagement with industry associations including CWEA, AWWA, APWA, WEF, WateReuse, CASQA and related organizations.\nMaintain inventory of branded materials used for client visits, conferences and recruiting activities.\nGeneral\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nPreferred Qualifications\n0-5 years of relevant experience supporting A/E/C proposals or pursuits\nStrong writing, editing, and storytelling skills\nStrong time management, organizational and marketing communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines with professionalism and diplomacy\nWillingness to travel within the Southern California Area as needed\nAbility to compose documents onscreen and to communicate graphically\nAbility to work collaboratively with technical professionals, business development leaders and marketing team members.\nInterpersonal and communications skills with people both inside and outside the firm including clients and sub-consultants\nAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as in team environments\nEnjoy working with different personality styles and management levels\nRequires little or no direction in area of specialization\nPositive outlook and attitude\nExperience supporting pursuit planning and proposal development for competitive A/E/C pursuits; Water industry experience a plus\nDemonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staff\nRequired Qualifications\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills \nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint \nProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign \nWhat We Believe\nHDR is our company.
