Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role is responsible for qualifying potential clients, setting proper expectations, presenting design agreements, and working closely with the design team to ensure a seamless transition into production. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship builder, results-driven, and understands the nuances of high-end residential remodeling.\nWhat You’ll Do\nServe as the first point of contact for prospective clients and guide them through the initial sales process. \nConduct discovery calls and in-home consultations to assess client needs and project feasibility. \nPresent and close design agreements aligned with HDR’s design-build process. \nCollaborate with the design team to ensure smooth project handoffs and clear communication of scope and budget. \nMaintain accurate lead and pipeline tracking in CRM (e.g., HubSpot or Buildertrend). \nHelp qualify leads to ensure alignment with HDR’s service offerings, budget range, and timeline. \nFollow up with prospects regularly to nurture relationships and move opportunities forward. \nSupport efforts to hit sales and design agreement goals, contributing to the $8M annual revenue target. \nRequirements:\n3+ years of experience in residential remodeling, construction sales, or design-related services.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\nAbility to read construction plans and understand project scopes. \nComfortable using CRM software and sales tracking tools. \nOrganized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in design-build or high-end residential remodeling. \nFamiliarity with the East Bay market. \nBackground in interior design, architecture, or construction, a plus. \nBilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. \nJob Type: Full-time\nSchedule: Monday to Friday\nWork Location: Emeryville, CA (in office)\nReliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (REQUIRED)\nCompensation and Benefits:\n$40-50/hr DOE, plus commission\nRetirement plan 401(k) + matching\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance\nEmployee assistance program\nFlexible schedule\nPaid time off\nProfessional development assistance\nBonus opportunities\nAPPLICATION STATUS NOTICE:\nTo ensure an efficient hiring process, we kindly ask that you do not call the office regarding your application status.
