Work is performed according to drawings, wiring diagrams, and verbal or written instructions.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerforms electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly and rework. Some test and repair of various electronic products and mechanical assemblies\nUtilizes schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, engineering drawings, wire lists, etc., and needs to be able to look at electrical blueprints and scan them for possible issues prior to installation.\nOperation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure equipment.\nInstalls electrical components such as terminal blocks, governor controllers, voltage regulators, Speed switches, voltage sensing controllers, watt transducers, current transformers, relay assemblies, fuse assemblies, time delay circuits, transformers, power terminal block assemblies, circuit breakers, jumpers and wire harnesses\nConnects lead wires to ohmmeter, or other electronic testing equipment to test connections for continuity, resistance, shorts and grounds in accordance with the wiring diagram\nCompletes various panels by installing lights, receptacles, gauges, various electronic instruments, legends and instruction labels in accordance with diagrams, drawings written and oral instructions\nSupports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization\nAdheres to all quality and safety standards\nSupports other projects and performs duties as assigned\nEDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent preferred, associate’s degree or vocational school certificate in electrical preferred but not required.\nMinimum five years of electrical systems experience, 7+ years preferred.\nExperience with hand and power tools required\nKnowledge of phase coloring: Ability to identify different gauges of wire\nExperience with EMI Connectors and building cables: Knowledge of low voltage wiring 24Volt AC/DC\nAbility to read schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, engineering drawings, etc.\nAbility and willingness to work overtime when necessary\nDisclaimer: This job description is not designed to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities required for this role.\nWhat WE offer:\nEmployees (and their families) are covered by Medical, Dental and Vision\nEmployees are covered by Short-Term and Long-Term Disability and Basic Life Insurance, Paid 100% by the company\nCompany matching 401(k) plan\n10 standard holidays, plus one floating holiday\nPTO\nThis position requires access to, or use of export-controlled technical data or technology controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
