In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials to all departments. While this role may require occasional forklift use, it is not a forklift driver role and involves a wide range of material handling, staging, inventory and warehouse support tasks. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to safely operate a variety of equipment and hand tools.\nPrimary and Essential Duties:\nAble to follow safety practices and meet quality standards of work.\nWorks under minimal supervision on duties and tasks that are frequently non-routine, adapting procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs\nAble to effectively communicate with other functional departments, such as Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Quality\nPerform stock picking, cycle counting, and point of use stocking tasks using manual and motorized material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, overhead crane) safely to move, load, unload and stack materials and products as needed\nLoad and unload inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and integrity of materials handled. Verify shipping and receiving documentation for completeness.\nDeliver raw materials, components, and supplies to designated workstations or production lines to support manufacturing processes. Stage finished goods for shipment or storage.\nAccurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting. Ability to look-up and investigate transaction history to resolve inventory discrepancies. Documents each receipt (packing slip, bill of lading, etc.) to support computer system entries\nParticipate in the company’s annual physical inventory, including counting verifying and reconciling materials and inventory records\nMay participate in lean/six sigma/quality/safety initiatives as required. \nSupports other projects and performs duties as assigned\nSupports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization\nEducation/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:\n3-5 years of relevant work experience demonstrating the required job skills and abilities needed to successfully perform the job. High School diploma or GED\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)\nFamiliarity with warehouse layouts, material flow, loading docks, and storage practices.\nBasic understanding of inventory control systems and vendor shipment portals (i.e., VSM, WAWF) and ability to accurately complete shipping, receiving, and inventory paperwork.
