This role focuses 3rd Party Expense Management and Category Strategy for Global Technology Services (GTS) and IT Management Services.\nThey collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate favorable contract terms while ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices for the following categories of spend: FinOps, End User Support, Global Technology Operations such as Compute Storage and IaaS, Cloud Engineering, and Enterprise Technology (ETOC) such as Network Technologies, Digital Workplace Solutions, Endpoint Resilience, Endpoint Technology, Telecom, and Collaboration Technology. \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategic Sourcing Planning:\nConduct in-depth market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends.\n\nDevelop comprehensive sourcing strategies for assigned categories, including cost reduction targets, supplier selection criteria, and risk mitigation plans.\n\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate the into clear sourcing requirements.\n\nRFx Management:\nLead the design and execution of Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation\n\n(RFQ), and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.\n\nAnalyze supplier responses, evaluate proposals based on price, quality, delivery, and other relevant factors.\n\nSupplier Negotiation:\nDevelops negotiation strategies and leads negotiations of complex contract provisions\n\nConduct complex contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing and terms while balancing risk and value.\n\nDevelop and manage master agreements, including legal terms and conditions.\n\nVendor Relationship Management:\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, addressing performance issues and driving continuous improvement.\n\nMonitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and KPIs.\n\nCost Optimization:\nAnalyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategic sourcing initiatives.\n\nUtilize cost modeling and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to evaluate sourcing options.\n\nStakeholder Management:\nCommunicate sourcing strategies and progress to internal stakeholders, including senior management.\n\nProactively manage expectations and address concerns related to sourcing activities.\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS:Sourcing Expertise:\n7+ years of advanced strategic sourcing experience with mastery of strategic technology focused procurement principles, practices, and models.\n\nDeep understanding of technology sourcing principles, sourcing methodologies, and contract law.\n\nProven track record with clearly articulated examples of negotiating SaaS and Cloud based enterprise business applications at scale in a global environment\n\nAbility to concisely convey contracting options and recommended path forward in summary fashion\n\nAnalytical Skills:Proficiency in data analysis, spend analytics, and financial modeling to identify cost savings opportunities.\n\nMarket Knowledge:Extensive knowledge of relevant technology and labor supplier markets, industry trends, and competitive landscape.\n\nCommunication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.\n\nProject Management Skills:\nAbility to lead and manage complex sourcing projects from initiation to completion.\n\nAbility to manage individual project timelines and drive completion of projects under limited supervision.\n\nWorkplace Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:\nAt Impellam, it is our moral obligation to safeguard each other, our customers, our temporary workforce and the environment by operating an injury-free, healthy workplace that minimizes our environmental impact.\nImpellam is committed to providing a safe and secure working environment to all employees and promote best practices.\nYou will meet our HSE obligations by committing to:\n\nSeek to prevent injury to any employee, customer, worker, or contractor.\n\nActively participating and completing compliance training as required.\n\nConsider the safety implications of decisions.\n\nThis job description describes the principal purpose and main elements of the role.
