Check out this current opening and if you think you may be a fit for the role, please apply.\nThe Role\nAMCR Institute is looking for Research Assistants to assist coordinators in clinical research protocols. These individuals will work directly with the coordinators, investigators, and other research staff to ensure clinical trial patient visits are being completed in accordance with protocol guidelines.\nPosition Type: PRN/Per-Diem\nPay Range: $20 - $25/hr\nLocation: Escondido, CA (no capabilities for remote or hybrid)\nTravel: 0%\nWork Schedule: Shifts vary from 4-8 hours between the hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm\nResponsibilities:\nProvide services including administration of medications, as directed by the physicians\nEnsure safety and welfare of each research participant\nCheck vital signs and record daily information in the participant’s chart\nCollect and prepare laboratory specimens\nPerform basic laboratory tests to include urine pregnancy test and urine drug tests\nPerform lab draws\nPerform ECGs\nMaintain detailed and accurate documentation related to research participants\nProvide status updates and communicate with team related to research participants\nRequirements:\nCertified Medical Assistant in California preferred\nCurrent and valid California Phlebotomy License preferred\nMinimum 1 year experience in medical field or clinical research\nIntermediate to advanced computer and phone skills\nBilingual in English/Spanish is a plus\nCalifornia Pay Range\n$20—$25 USD\nHeadlands Research will never ask a candidate for personal identifiable information (date of birth, social security number, driver’s license information, etc) via email or messenger tools, or for a financial deposit of any kind. \nHeadlands Research is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
