We're seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve as a Sub-Investigator to help us grow our site located in El Paso, TX. Ideally, we are seeking someone for three days per week for 8-hours each day. If you’re passionate about clinical research and ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.\nResponsibilities:\nEnsure the safety and welfare of each study subjectHave in-depth knowledge of all research protocols\nScreen potential study subjects according to the protocol’s specific inclusion and exclusion criteria\n\nConduct medical history interviews and physical examinations throughout the subject’s study participation\nReview EKG’s and lab results\nProvide medical care as needed during a subject’s participation in a clinical trial\nProvide home based on-call availability per site policy\nAttend Investigator Meetings on behalf of Principal Investigator as neededExcellent professional communication, punctual and responsible\n\nFriendly and outgoing demeanor\nMust demonstrate a passion for direct patient interaction\nDemonstrate clinical competence, positive leadership and ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team\nQualifications:\nMinimum of [[two years]] of experience as a licensed physician assistant, family or non-acute adult nurse practitioner treating a wide variety of therapeutic areas for the adult and geriatric patient population required (internal medicine, family medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine)\nCurrent and unencumbered license to practice as an NP or PA in the state of [[California]] required\nPrior experience within the clinical research industry [[highly preferred]]\nCommitment and ability to deliver excellent customer service\nExcellent communication, punctual and responsible\nExtremely well organized\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nTrustworthy, reliable; attentive to details\nMature and pleasant demeanor\nWillingness to learn new tasks and grow with the company\nHeadlands Research will never ask a candidate for personal identifiable information (date of birth, social security number, driver’s license information, etc) via email or messenger tools, or for a financial deposit of any kind. \nHeadlands Research is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
