Official plan documents govern all benefits.\nAbout the role\nThe Aerospace Quality Inspector ensures that components, assemblies, and processes meet regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards. This role supports safety and airworthiness through detailed inspection, documentation review, and adherence to established Quality Management System requirements.\nKey Details\nWork Days and Hours: Full Time.\nLocation: Addison, TX, onsite.\nWork Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States.\nWhat you'll do\nPerform detailed visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, in process parts, and finished aerospace assemblies.\nUse advanced metrology tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMM equipment.\nReview, prepare, and verify First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102, material certifications, and test reports to support full traceability.\nReview, verify, and issue FAA Form 8130 3 in compliance with FAA regulations, ensuring parts, components, and documentation meet airworthiness, traceability, and regulatory requirements prior to certification.\nAudit production processes to ensure adherence to AS9100 standards, FAA regulations, and internal work instructions.\nIdentify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials.\nInitiate root cause analysis and participate in Corrective Action Board reviews.\nConduct incoming inspections of supplier provided parts and final buy off inspections prior to customer delivery.\nPrepare inspection plans using data from blueprints, customer specifications, and procurement documentation.\nPerform conformity inspections for newly designed parts to ensure they meet design and specification requirements.\nComplete general quality and inspection duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nTwo to five years of quality inspection experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nProficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T symbols.\nExperience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.\nAttention to detail with a strong focus on precision and accuracy in a high stakes environment.\nCritical thinking skills with the ability to identify patterns in defects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nClear verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with engineering, production, quality, and regulatory auditors.\nExperience with ERP or MRP software and digital QMS platforms for data entry and recordkeeping.\nAbility to lift up to 35 pounds.\nFine motor skills for handling delicate aerospace components.\nVision corrected to 20/20, including near vision and color perception as required for specific inspection types.\nPreferred Qualifications\nTechnical certification or associate degree in Nondestructive Testing or Quality Technology.\nASQ Certified Quality Inspector certification.\nSpecialized certifications such as Level II NDT.\nExperience supporting AS9100, AS9102, FAA regulations, and aerospace manufacturing quality systems.\nExperience working with premium audio, cabin management, lighting, or advanced aviation
