We are looking for a skilled and customer focused Senior Systems Engineer to provide frontline technical support and troubleshooting, engage with customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and represent Innovative Advantage at tradeshows and industry events.\nThis role works closely with product development, sales, and support teams to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of our products and services.\nKey Details\nWork Days and Hours: Full time. Standard working hours are based on business needs.\nLocation: Onsite in Kirkland, Washington\nCompensation: $170,000 to $190,000 per year. Salary may be adjusted based on experience and geographic location outside of Kirkland, Washington.\nWork Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen and authorized to work in the United States.\nBusiness Unit: This position is under Heads Up Technologies and will support the Innovative Advantage business unit.\nEmployment Entity: A new employee to the organization will be employed by Innovative Advantage Inc.\nTravel: Ability to travel up to 25 percent of the time to customer sites and industry events as needed, both within and outside the United States.\nWhat you'll do\nDevelop system level specifications, system architecture block diagrams, system solution proposals, and implementation plans.\nCollaborate with internal teams and provide guidance based on customer requirements for new and updated products.\nSet up and test proof of concept ideas for new products and system applications.\nCreate AVDS system configuration files based on customer wiring and block diagrams.\nCreate tradeshow and customer demo setups.\nCommunicate with customers to understand technical requirements and business challenges.\nAssist customers in designing and implementing customized solutions that meet their specific needs.\nShare customer insights with internal teams to improve product design and the end user experience.\nNetwork and build relationships with target customers and related industry professionals.\nStay current with industry trends, partners, and competitors.\nSupport quotes and proposals based on customer input.\nProvide pre sales technical support, including tradeshow and customer demonstrations, technical presentations, product configurations, and solution guidance.\nDevelop test cases and procedures to provide system level coverage for product development specifications.\nEstablish new ways to improve, expand, and streamline system testing for products.\nSet up bench or SIL systems needed to recreate customer issues with specific configurations.\nCreate and revise systems and qualification documentation for all products.\nDevelop testing scripts in Python to enhance test coverage and enable automated testing capabilities.\nConduct root cause analysis for recurring technical problems and work with teams to implement long term solutions.\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting by email, phone, and TeamViewer for customers in a timely and efficient manner.\nPerform software updates and diagnostic analysis on fielded systems.\nResolve customer issues quickly and escalate complex problems to senior engineers or developers as necessary.\nParticipate in the support on call rotation for nights and weekends.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor of Science degree in a related engineering discipline.\nEight or more years of Systems Engineering experience in an aerospace related field, with a strong focus on customer engagement.\nExperience with audio and video distribution technologies, cabin management systems, networking systems, and aircraft wiring diagrams.\nFamiliarity with Python, XML, databases, networking, and error log analysis.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders.\nAbility to travel up to 25 percent of the time to customer sites and industry events as needed, both within and outside the United States.\nU.S. Citizenship and authorization to work in the United States.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting customer facing systems engineering activities in the business aviation or aerospace industry.\nExperience creating system level technical documentation, architecture diagrams, product configurations, and customer demo environments.\nExperience developing Python test scripts and supporting automated testing capabilities.\nExperience working closely with product development, sales, support, and engineering teams to resolve customer issues and improve product design.\nExperience with system integration, system level testing, qualification documentation, and root cause
