Join us, and help change mental healthcare for the better.\nAbout the Role\nAs Senior Data Science Manager for Provider Experience, you will define and lead our data science strategy for our providers experience at Headway. You will report into Headway's Provider Experience Group, a mission critical pillar to becoming a practice partner for our providers all on a foundation of trust. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Design, Clinical and Customer Success leadership to continuously improve our relationships with providers. You will define the right questions, uncover opportunities, and work cross-functionally to turn insights into measurable improvements.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead and grow a high-performing team of Data Scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and strategic thinking.\n\nDevelop quarterly roadmaps with cross-functional partners, align Data Science resources, and oversee execution of timely and high-quality work.\n\nDrive insights and decisions through strategic analysis, reporting, experimentation and predictive modeling.\n\nObsess over provider experience metrics surfacing gaps and ways to continuously improve them\n\nDeep dive into areas we don’t fully understand to segment our data and understand where there’s opportunities to improve provider experiences.\n\nStay close to the data by tackling strategic projects yourself, identifying underlying trends and areas of opportunity.\n\nTranslate complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n8+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles.\n\n3+ years of experience managing and developing teams.\n\nStrong product mindset and demonstrated success working in Product\n\nProven success partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, Design, Operations, Clinical and Customer Success teams\n\nProficiency in forecasting, experimentation, causal inference\n\nExperience with data modeling, ideally using dbt.\n\nHands-on technical fluency in SQL and Python or R.\n\nExperience adopting and championing AI-assisted tools to accelerate and automate data workflows.\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nWhy This Role is Exciting\nHelp us drive engagement of our product for Providers\n\nInfluence the future for our product experience and tying to growth levers\n\nPartner closely with senior and executive leadership and directly influence company strategy and growth.\n\nCompensation and Benefits:\nThe expected base pay range for this position is $212,000 - $265,000, based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
