Warehouse Lead responsibilities include providing training to new hires on GMP’s, SOP’s and safety training regulations to ensure compliance. The Warehouse Lead will conduct forklift and system training and will drive continuous improvement with productivity and all other programs/processes.\nJOB DUTIES:\nEnsures all employees are working in a highly productive and safe manner\nWorks with Warehouse Manager to ensure proper training, coaching, and development is being provided.\nUpdates and maintains compliance tracking.\nTracks and maintains employee productivity standards by efficiently teaching all job functions.\nInspects/audits all inbound and outbound orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, which may include special instructions as requested by customers such as stacking patterns.\nMaintain a clean and organized warehouse \nEngaged and holds daily start up meetings with appropriate staff\nManages flow of work in the warehouse and on the shipping dock via warehouse management system\nUnderstand how to allocate outbound orders and receive raw material goods by following standard operating procedures (SOP)\nDaily communication with outside departments including pass downs, sales, and recap daily force of action to meet organizational goals.\nPerforms safety audits\nAssists with QA related functions\nPerform other duties as assigned\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nKnowledge of company GMP’s, all SOP’s, and safety regulations\nComfortable working in a fast paced, accurate environment\nShould have exceptional leadership and decision-making abilities\nPrevious experience using a warehouse management system which includes RF scan guns, VMU units, and handheld RF units\nMust be able to operate various lift trucks, and be able to obtain current forklift MHE certificates\nPro-active mindset with the ability to apply common sense and good judgment under minimal supervision\nAbility to train other LTO’s\nAbility to accurately write routine reports and simple correspondence.\nAbility to maintain all productivity standards. \nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent working experience, and 4+ years of related warehouse experience and/or training.\nKnowledge of warehouse and equipment\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nMust have the ability to learn different aspects of the Warehouse, and the ability to lead and teach others how to achieve organizational results\nPreferred experience in a leadership role \nBilingual (English and Spanish)\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nExposure to cold temperatures ranging from 33°F to 41°F\nMust be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and use team lifting techniques for weights above 50 lbs.\nHOURS & WORKDAYS:\n2nd shift -
