Learn more at HealthEdge.com.\nWe are seeking a passionate problem solver to work as a Software Engineer inPerformance and Tools team to:\nEnhance and maintain in-house synthetic data generation tools \nInvestigate performance issues in enterprise applications \nDevelop, maintain and optimize performance scripts and test framework \nValidate and improve the scalability, reliability of enterprise applications and cloud-native systems. \nKey Responsibilities\nSupport quality and development teams with the test data generation requirements. \nLearn in-house test data generation tool and enhance its capabilities. \nDevelop solutions with an AI-centric approach. \nDesign, develop, and execute performance test scenarios. \nTroubleshooting performance issues by analyzing application, infrastructure, and database bottlenecks. \nIntegrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines. \nCollaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and SRE teams to resolve performance issues. \nIntegrate AI/ML techniques into performance testing. \nIntegrate observability tools in performance analysis and related processes \nPerform Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance (Soak), Volume, and Scalability testing. \nCreate performance reports, reporting frameworks and provide optimization recommendations. \nRequired Skills\nProgramming & Databases\nPrevious working experience with Python for backend for application development.\n\nBasic experience with JavaScript for frontend web-development.\n\nPrevious working experience with SQL and DB design principles and other database technologies.\n\nPrevious working experience with writing and optimizing SQL queries and analyze database performance.\n\nPrevious working experience working with AI tools like Claude, Copilot, and produce quality solutions.\n\nPerformance Testing\nPrevious working experience with Performance Engineering concepts.\n\nHands-on experience with one or more of the following tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, Locust, NeoLoad, or BlazeMeter.\n\nObservability & Monitoring\nExperience with one or more of the following application monitoring tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, AWS CloudWatch, and Google Cloud Monitoring.\n\nPrevious working experience with the following - analyze logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerts for root cause analysis.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n\n3 - 8 years of experience in Software Development and Performance Testing/Performance Engineering.\n\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\n\nPreferred Skills\nGood knowledge of Java to troubleshoot performance issues.\nPostgres SQL\nKnowledge of Ruby/Rails\nCloud & DevOps\nGood knowledge of AWS and GCP.\nGood understanding of Git repositories and GitLab Pipelines.\nExperience working with CI/CD environments.\nKnowledge of APIs, Microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.\nGeographic Responsibility: Remote, US\nType of Employment: Full-time, permanent\nFLSA Classification (USA Only): Exempt\nWork Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:\nThe employee is occasionally required to move around the office. This salary range may cover multiple career levels at HealthEdge.
