Work will be performed at the intersection of data science, machine learning, and software engineering to build AI applications that can perform tasks such as natural language processing, genAI solutions and predictive analytics. \n Key Responsibilities:“To simplify complexities for each customer.” \n The intern may be involved in the following activities under the mentorship, guidance and supervision of the VP, Program Performance & Analytics and/or the AVP, Product Analytics and Business Strategy; or delegate: \nModel Development:Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms to solve complex problems.\nData Processing:Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to be used for training AI models.\nAlgorithm Selection:Select appropriate machine learning algorithms based on the problem being solved.\nSystem Integration:Integrate AI models into existing systems or develop new systems to deploy AI solutions.\nPerformance Optimization:Continuously optimize AI models for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.\nResearch and Development:Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning and apply them to projects.\nCollaboration:Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to develop AI solutions.\nDocumentation:Create detailed documentation for AI models, processes, and systems.\nDeployment and Monitoring:Deploy AI models into production and monitor their performance over time.\nEthical Considerations:Ensure AI models are developed and deployed ethically, considering potential biases and fairness.\nQualifications/Education/Certifications: \nEnrolled in a Bachelor's degree program at a four-year college or university; preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Business including Economics, Administration, Management or IT, for example. \nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: \nAny experience in the following is a plus, but not required: \nExperience working with Gen AI/ML models and developing API’s, SDK’s and applications that utilize AI/ML. \nExperience with Retrieval Augmented Generation(RAG) based solutions. \nDemonstrated experience with NLP techniques, Prompt Engineering, and a strong understanding of LLMs. \nStrong programming skills in Python \nUnderstanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles. \nFamiliarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. \nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills. \nKnowledge of ethical considerations in AI. \nRole-Based Competencies: \nShow Drive & Initiative \nCollaboration & Teamwork \nDelivers Quality Results Timely \nCommunicates Effectively \nJob Knowledge & Skills \nPhysical Demands/Working Conditions: \nDuties are performed primarily in a home office setting utilizing computer equipment.
