The Development Manager will have strong knowledge of software development, API development, and enterprise application integration, with experience developing and supporting business-critical applications using technologies such as Java, MuleSoft, and Workato.Duties & Responsibilities:\nStays current with new IT, application development, integration, API, and automation technologies to maintain a high level of subject matter expertise.\nGuides the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and delivery of enterprise applications, APIs, middleware services, and integration solutions.\nDesigns and develops System, Process, and Experience APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led connectivity principles.\nDevelops and maintains application integrations and workflow automations using MuleSoft, Workato, Java, RESTful APIs, and related technologies.\nIntegrates enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, messaging technologies, and external systems using appropriate integration patterns and connectors.\nDevelops data transformations, mappings, validation, error handling, logging, and monitoring to support reliable and scalable integrations.\nProvides technical assistance with software systems, troubleshoots application and integration failures, and performs root cause analysis.\nReviews application and API performance and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.\nImplements secure integration solutions using appropriate authentication, authorization, and API security practices.\nDevelops unit and integration tests and provides appropriate code coverage to validate business logic and functionality.\nParticipates in requirements gathering and develops technical specifications, user stories, solution designs, and implementation plans.\nCollaborates with solution architects, business analysts, QA, DevOps, and other technology teams throughout the software development lifecycle.\nParticipates in code reviews and supports Agile development, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices.\nDocuments application designs, integration specifications, issues, solutions, and operational procedures as needed.\nFosters a collaborative approach to software development and delivery while effectively communicating with technical and business stakeholders. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in IT or Comp Sci or HS diploma/GED from an accredited institution with equivalent work experience. • Significant professional experience in software development, application integration, or enterprise application integration.\nHands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, or comparable enterprise integration technologies.\nExperience developing applications, APIs, or services using Java and related technologies.\nExperience with RESTful APIs, web services, JSON, XML, data transformation, error handling, and application troubleshooting.\nExperience with Agile development processes, continuous integration/continuous deployment, and working with cross-functional or geographically distributed teams.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, planning, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
