Oversee both the software development team responsible for product development and the IT team responsible for infrastructure, systems, and user support. Responsible for promoting a culture of technology-driven innovation and problem solving across the organization.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nEnsure the smooth operation, security and scalability of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and cloud-based systems\nWork closely with technology leaders within Corporate to develop and enforce local IT policies, procedures and standards including cybersecurity protocols.\nOversee IT support services to ensure high levels of user satisfaction and minimal downtime.\nOversee the design, development and maintenance of in-house software applications and systems\nEnsure adherence to best practices in software development, including code quality, testing and deployment processes. \nDrive agile development methodologies and ensure efficient project management and delivery\nLead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of software developers, IT professionals, and support staff. Including talent acquisition, professional development and performance management for the Technology department\nDevelop and manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with company goals\nEvaluate select and manage relationships with third-party vendors, service providers and consultants.\nWork closely with other departments such as Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Marketing, Finance and Sales, to understand their needs and provide technological solutions\nSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:\nProven experience leading and scaling technology teams in a growth-oriented environment.\nStrong knowledge of software development methodologies, IT infrastructure management, and cybersecurity best practices.\nStay current on IT trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance technological capabilities\nGENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:\nExcellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.\nExperience with budget management and vendor negotiations.\nStrategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term goals.\nMINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:\n10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, including experience managing both software development and IT infrastructure teams\nPrior experience working in a regulated environment\nPREFERRED EDUCATION:\nTypically, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.\nTRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nTravel can be as much as 15%. Office environment. No special physical demands required. The ideal candidate will be local but open to remote.\nCOMPLEXITY:\nWork on complex, numerous and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of the company and an evaluation of intangibles. Knowledge of all areas within sub-function(s) derived from experience in non-management and middle-management roles allowing for innovative concepts and promoting new ideas within the function.\nSTRATEGY:\nParticipate in establishing the strategic direction to ensure alignment with overall Company strategy and initiatives. Focus may be on the execution of a large and/or complex processes. Translate and guide team to implement strategy.\nSUPERVISION:\nDirect and control activities through managers or senior professional level staff who have responsibility for the operation of the assigned area and/or process or system.\nINTERACTION:\nRegularly interact with executives and/or major customers/stakeholders. Ability to negotiate with suppliers or management and influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance.\nSCOPE:\nTypically direct a large complex section of a department or a complex department with significant scope and financial and operational impact. Role may focus on executing a large and very complex/complicated process. Accountable for performance, results and staffing. Make recommendations for the objectives, policies and plans of the sub-function(s). Fully accountable for meeting the strategic and operating objectives of the sub-function(s). Develop proposed budgets for approval and manage budget once approved. Operate with substantial latitude for un-reviewed action or decision. Often plays a role in high-level projects that have an impact on the company’s future direction.\nMANAGEMENT DUTIES:\nCan hire, terminate, or promote and is aware of higher-level functional issues and concerns. Makes decisions on salary increases, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, etc.\nPERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:\nTypically, to advance to a new job level, TSMs must demonstrate professional behavior and should consistently be at the high-end of meeting expectations or consistently exceed expectations.\nSalary: The salary range for this position is $165,871 to $237,402.
