The Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting the Manager, Senior Manager, and Director with various product initiative planning and execution for initiatives included within the Healthfirst product portfolio, including collecting/organizing documentation to successful execution.Duties & Responsibilities:\nParticipates in product driven workgroups to provide input to product designs/enhancements and implementation plans.\nWorks closely with cross functional teams such as Enrollment & Billing, Claims, Member Services, Compliance, Sales, Finance, Clinical/Network Management, and senior management in implementing new products, product enhancements, business implementations and, end to end process improvements.\nPlans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to a project or assignment.\nKeeps all areas of the corporation informed through written and oral reports. Ensures communication to all areas impacted.\nServes as the subject matter expert on product requirements to other business units.\nMust be able to perform additional duties as required\nParticipate in the CMS Bid Planning and Submission processes\nResearch and Analyze Market Trends\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent\nExcellent communication skills and strong analytical ability required.\nAbility to work cross-functionally across departments.\nAbility to adapt to constant change and competing priorities and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nMust be able to think strategically while managing tactical execution.\nExcellent organizational/project management skills\nSense of urgency necessary to meet goals, objectives and deadlines\n1-2 years’ experience with Managed Care Plans and Medicare Plans\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExcellent interpersonal skills\nAble to work with people of varied management levels\nKnowledge of Company policy, procedures and organizational structure\nMasters degree from an accredited institution\nExperience completing and submitting a CMS Bid\nWE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
