About the Opportunity / A Day in the Life

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a specialty clinical team in Peoria, Arizona. This position offers the opportunity to develop or expand expertise in gastroenterology, hepatology, liver disease, and clinical research while taking an active role in managing patients throughout their care.

Your day will include evaluating patients, conducting consultations and pretreatment reviews, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing follow-up care. You will serve as a key clinical point of contact for patients and families while collaborating closely with physicians on diagnoses, treatment decisions, and more complex cases.

The position also provides exposure to clinical research and emerging therapies. You will educate appropriate patients about therapeutic options available through on-site liver clinical trials and may participate in the clinical management of research patients.

This role is designed for an APP who wants meaningful responsibility for patient care while continuing to build specialty expertise, procedural skills, and clinical independence.

  • Build specialized expertise in gastroenterology, hepatology, and liver disease
  • Gain exposure to clinical research and emerging therapeutic options
  • Develop and utilize procedural skills, including FibroScan
  • Manage patients with meaningful ownership and continuity of care

  • Join a specialty environment with opportunities for continued professional development
