This position will work 48-64 hours per pay period (2 weeks) with every other weekend rotation. The Dietary Cook prepares and cooks meals for hospital employees and patients in accordance with Physician diet orders. This position has a minimum age requirement of 18.\nWork Schedule: FTE 0.6, 24 hours per week, 0600 - 1800.\nResponsibilities:\nDetermines types and quantities of meats, vegetables and soups to be prepared by reviewing planned menus.\nServes the correct portion sizes for all food items.\nEnsure meals are prepared and ready by anticipated times.\nBakes, prepares, or assigns the preparation of congregate snacks.\nMeasures and mixes ingredients according to approved recipes.\nImproves flavor and texture of food by adding ingredients or reasonings.\nMakes soups, sauces, stews, casseroles, and desserts meeting established dietary guidelines.\nMaintains kitchen in a clean, neat and organized manner.\nObserves infection control, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.\nPreferred Qualifications: \nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\nPrevious experience in food preparation preferred\nExcellent customer services and teamwork skills.\nAbout Olivia Hospital & Clinic:\nLocated in west central Minnesota, Olivia Hospital & Clinic is one of the leading employers in Renville County.
