The Software Engineer will work with the engineering team to build and enhance a suite of consumer facing website and will contribute software design and architecture using agile practices.Supervisory Responsibilities:\nNone\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nBuild out fast, responsive websites that are optimized for frictionless user experience in a marketing and sales domain\nWork closely with the product owner and software engineer manager to develop and enhance websites based on an agreed roadmap and execute using Agile SDLC\nIncorporate inputs from marketing, UX team, SEO and optimization teams to A/B test and continuously evolve consumer facing websites\nWork in Agile Scrum team to participate and deliver sprint objectives\nMonitor the performance of the applications with a focus on uptime and fast response time\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field\n5 years of hands-on software development experience\nExpertise in building consumer facing website using Javascript based frameworks such as ReactJS framework and associated libraries like Redux and Next.JS (React JS is preferred however similar technologies like AngularJS, Vue, other Javascript frameworks will be considered)\nProven ability to build web applications and content rich sites using a CMS\nProficiency in the following areas: OOP using .NET or Java, CSS, HTML5, Cloud Technologies, CI/CD, MVC, RDBMS\nPreferred Skills/Abilities:\nFamiliar with marketing concepts like A/B Testing, SEO, analytics, conversion rates, campaign monitoring, email marketing, etc.\nFamiliarity with Azure Cloud, NewRelic, Optimizely, Headless CMS like Prismic.io\nExperience building websites in a marketing and sales domain\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position (e.g., sitting or standing) for extended periods of time, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)\nFrequent use of a computer, dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment such as a telephone, copier, and printer.\nMust be able to communicate effectively, including exchanging information in person, in writing, by telephone, email or video conferencing.\nVisual and auditory acuity required to perform job duties effectively, including reading, writing, and interpreting information on screens or in print.\nHand dexterity, fine motor skills needed to operate a keyboard and mouse efficiently\nReach with hands and arms occasionally\nFor Hybrid Roles:\nMust be able to commute to an office setting as required, which may include walking short distances and navigating an office environment.\nOccasionally moves about the office to access files, office machinery, and meet with others.\nEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO) is a fundamental principle at HealthPlanOne, where employment is based upon personal capabilities and qualifications.
