It's informal, lines are short, and you'll work closely with the founders every day.\nWhat you'll do\nYou'll join our Product team and own features end to end, from an idea to running in production.\nBuild APIs, data models and integrations in Kotlin\n\nHelp build AI features that control building systems more intelligently\n\nWork with our Data team to connect new data sources, so Healthy Workers is the single source of truth for all building and customer data\n\nFix bugs and keep production healthy\n\nReview other people's code and get yours reviewed, always within one working day\n\nLearn our domain, including SkySpark, our building analytics platform\n\nWhat your week roughly looks like:\n~60% building: APIs, data models, integrations and AI features\n~20% maintenance, devops and infra: bugs, monitoring, CI/CD and infrastructure\n~10% code reviews and security (pentests and ISO)\n~10% stand-ups, refinement, sprint planning and retros\nOur stack\nKotlin, Micronaut, MySQL, BigQuery, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Terraform, Google Cloud Platform and SkySpark. We plan in Linear.\nComing from Java? Perfect! Most of Kotlin will feel familiar quickly, and you'll learn the rest from colleagues who write it every day.\nWhat you bring\nMust-haves:\nA few years of experience as a back-end developer with Java or Kotlin\n\nSolid SQL skills, and you've built REST APIs that run in production\n\nExperience with Docker and CI/CD. If you don't know Kubernetes yet, you'll learn it here\n\nYou're curious and keep improving yourself\n\nYou can explain technical choices clearly to colleagues in Product, Data and Technical Customer Success\n\nYou are fluent in English and live in the Netherlands\n\nNice to have:\nExperience with Terraform, GitLab CI or Google Cloud Platform\n\nKnowledge of C#\n\nExperience in a small product team at a scale-up\n\nAn interest in building, energy or sensor data\n\nWhat you get\nA salary that matches your experience.
