And your colleagues will be there to motivate and inspire you every step of the way.\nPosition Purpose:\nThe Finance Manager is responsible for leading the core finance operations of the Australian business, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, robust financial controls, effective treasury and payment management, and strong governance across the organisation.\nThe role leads the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Financial Accounting functions and is accountable for the delivery of monthly financial reporting, external audits, corporate controls compliance under Italian Law 262, treasury operations, company secretarial responsibilities and working capital management.\nAs a key member of the finance leadership team, the Finance Manager partners closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to drive process improvements, maintain a strong control environment and support the achievement of business objectives.\nKey Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nFinancial Accounting & Reporting\nLead the month-end and year-end close processes\nEnsure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial reporting\nOversee balance sheet reconciliations and financial integrity across all entities\nEnsure compliance with IFRS, accounting standards and Group policies\nDrive continuous improvement in accounting processes and reporting quality\nTeam Leadership\nLead and develop a finance team comprising direct and indirect reports, including offshore team members\nProvide coaching, mentoring and performance management to build a high-performing team\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement\nAccounts Payable, Receivable & Credit Control\nOversee the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control functions\nMonitor debtor performance and lead initiatives to improve collections and reduce aged debt\nEnsure robust payment processes and appropriate segregation of duties\nOptimise working capital through effective management of receivables and payables\nTreasury & Payments\nKey contact for banking and factoring relationships\nManage treasury activities including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management\nOversee banking relationships and treasury controls\nEnsure all payment processes comply with internal control requirements and delegated authorities\nMonitor cash management and financing requirement\nGovernance, Control & Compliance\nLead monthly corporate control reporting under Italian Law 262 requirements\nMaintain and strengthen the internal control framework\nCoordinate and support internal audit activities where required\nEnsure compliance with company policies, governance standards and regulatory requirements\nExternal Audit & Statutory Compliance\nManage the annual external audit process for two legal entities\nAct as the primary liaison between auditors and the business\nCoordinate preparation of statutory financial statements and supporting documentation\nEnsure timely completion of audit deliverables and remediation activities\nCompany Secretarial\nCoordinate company secretarial activities and statutory lodgments\nEnsure compliance with corporate regulatory obligations including ASIC\nProjects & Continuous Improvement\nLead finance transformation and process improvement initiatives\nSupport ERP enhancements and system optimisation projects\nParticipate in business integration, acquisition and change management activities\nUndertake ad hoc projects and analysis as required\nKey Success Factors & Principal Challenges:\nExcellence in financial accounting, governance and control\nStrong leadership of a multifunctional finance team\nAbility to balance operational finance responsibilities with strategic business support\nMaintaining a robust internal control environment in a dynamic business setting\nEffective management of external stakeholders including auditors, banks and advisors\nDriving continuous improvement while ensuring operational excellence\nExperience with a Tier One ERP (Oracle preferred)\nDelivering accurate reporting within tight deadlines\nCompetencies:\nStrong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise\nExcellent leadership and people management skills\nHighly developed stakeholder management and interpersonal skills\nCommercial acumen and sound business judgement\nStrong problem-solving and analytical capabilities\nExcellent communication and business writing skills\nAbility to manage competing priorities and deadlines\nContinuous improvement mindset\nHigh level of integrity and attention to detail\nPutting People First\nOne of the ways we amplify careers is by helping our people achieve their full potential.
