Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Controller will be responsible for overseeing the monthly close process, managing accounting operations and policies, and supporting broader financial reporting and compliance initiatives. This role is a key partner to the finance leadership team and will contribute to the strategic development of scalable processes that support growth and financial transparency.\nThe Corporate Controller is a detail-oriented, technically strong accounting professional with leadership presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nAccounting Operations\nOversee and manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP\n\nEnsure accurate and timely booking of all monthly revenue, expenses, accruals, and journal entries\n\nLead the review and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts with appropriate supporting documentation and variance analysis\n\nManage the corporate capital expenditure tracking and reporting process, including review and approval workflows\n\nEstablish, implement, and monitor robust internal controls to ensure data integrity, safeguard assets, and mitigate fraud risk\n\nFinancial Reporting & Compliance\nAssist in the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports\n\nEnsure compliance with company accounting policies, relevant regulatory requirements, and audit standards\n\nSupport annual financial statement audit and any tax or compliance reviews as required\n\nMaintain documentation and process narratives for SOX/internal control readiness\n\nTeam Leadership & Cross-Functional Support\n\nSupervise and mentor accounting team members (including GL accountants and AP/AR staff), fostering development and accountability\n\nServe as a key liaison to FP&A, Operations, Revenue Cycle, and other departments to ensure accounting alignment with business activity\n\nAssist with financial systems improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP optimization\n\nSupport the VP of Finance with ad hoc analyses, board presentations, and special projects as needed\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required\n\n7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or controller-level role\n\nStrong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and accounting operations\n\nExperience with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, Workday > Oracle Fusion, Zuora, and Adaptive preferred)\n\nPrior experience in healthcare, SaaS, or high-growth environments a plus\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage and mentor teams, build scalable processes, and collaborate cross-functionally\n\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nThis position is based in Dallas, TX and may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule, depending on team structure and operational needs.\nABOUT US\nFounded in 1999, Homecare Homebase, a subsidiary of Hearst Corporation is a market leader in healthcare software development providing mobile cloud-based solutions for clinical, operational, and financial improvement of home care, hospice and personal care agencies throughout the United States.Our software enables real time solutions for wireless information exchange and communication between office staff, field staff, and physicians.\nOur success is fueled by our talented teams that are driven by their passion to make a difference in patient care.Our employees work in a culture that is guided by CARES values: Care, Act, Respect, Excel, and Smile(a positive attitude).If you want to work in a role where your skills have a direct influence on patient care, Homecare Homebase is the next step in your career.We are hiring team members who want to make a difference.\nWhat You Can Expect from Us\nAt Homecare Homebase, we don't just help our clients succeed; we help our employees succeed.
