The Architect documents the platform, analyzes impacts of new requirements, and provides controls to ensure the correct technical solutions are leveraged in the delivery of business solutions. Overall, the ServiceNow Platform Architect has strong technical abilities, a sound understanding of business strategy and policies that govern the ServiceNow platform, and possesses advanced ServiceNow knowledge and skill.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nResponsibilities for the ServiceNow Platform Architect can vary, but includes:\nCreates and maintains a detailed view of existing architecture\nAligns ServiceNow platform capabilities to business strategy and ServiceNow roadmap\nLeads the Platform Support Team in implementation of technical good practices, policies and procedures\nProvides architectural controls and analysis of impacts for new requirements\nIdentifies opportunities to combine similar solution needs\nProvides leadership and participates in implementing new requirements on the ServiceNow platform\nContributes to governance processes\nStays current on ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologies\nRequired Skills\nEnterprise Security and Architecture\nEnterprise and/or IT Service Management\nServiceNow Advanced System Administration\nServiceNow Application Development\nScripting - JavaScript - Web Services - HTML - CSS - TSQL - AngularJS\nPerformance Analytics and dashboarding\nScoped Application development and Workspaces\nIntegrations via REST, JDBC, GraphQL using Integration Hub and flow designer\nStrong communication skills that include the ability to write clearly and concisely\nExperience with modern ServiceNow features (Virtual Agent, Now Assist, Mobile Development, UI Builder, AWA, etc.)\nExperience\n3+ years overall experience as a ServiceNow Platform Architect\nExperience with database design schemas and data modeling\nRequirements-gathering experience\nStrong ability to align and document business process and requirements with a technical implementation\nExperience with middleware and discovery technologies\nDirect experience implementing the following:\nIT Service Management (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog)\nStrategic Portfolio Management - Project and Demand Management\nIT Operations Management (Discovery, Event, Service Mapping)\nCustomer Service Management\n\nEducation / Certification / Training\nBachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related (equivalent experience considered)\nCandidates with relevant certifications are preferred, including but not limited to the following:Certified System Administrator\nCertified Application Developer\nCIS - IT Service Management\nCIS - Customer Service Management\nCIS - Project Portfolio Management\n\nThis position does not provide sponsorship.
