The ideal candidate loves to capture impactful and engaging stories to connect with audiences across TV, digital, streaming and social media. You will spend several hours each day in the field shooting creative video and compelling audio. You will report to the Assistant News Director. This is an IBEW Union position.\nResponsibilities\nShoot and edit content in a variety of formats for linear, digital and social platforms\nShoot on assigned professional camera equipment \nEdit in Adobe Premiere and After Effects\nCollaborate with reporters, producers and managers to produce high-quality stories\nWork with catalog systems to save/store, record and locate necessary video\nOrganization and attention to gear/equipment maintenance\nOther editing responsibilities as assigned by news managers\nRequirements\n3+ years of professional videography experience\nCarry up to 30 pounds of equipment\nCan work in all weather conditions\nHave a valid driver's license and a clean driving record\nExperience with digital editing tools\nMust be willing to work varied shifts as needed\nExhibit unwavering integrity and ethical standards\nCan deal with the pressure of production deadlines\nBilingual experience is a plus\nRelated military experience will be considered\nSalary\nThe estimated base salary range for this role is between $48,000 and $60,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, including geographic location where the work will be performed, and other factors permitted by law.
